Social, Humanitarian and Cultural
SOCHUM or GA3, as its name suggests deals with issues related to human rights and their violation, humanitarian law, specific aid or attention needed to be given to countries facing difficulties etc. Unlike other GA committees, it deals with a great variety of issues being at stake around the world and has the ability to mobilise many UN bodies.
